Wealthy people will always have many friends. Their houses are full of guests while the fridge is full of food, the bar is well stocked with drinks, and there is music and entertainment to maintain an active social life.
But it is interesting to see that the Word of God advises the son of God should look for people without resources ... it is true that in some countries and cultures a poor man of resources has problems. Human nature has not changed through the centuries. The old nature controlled by sin, even evidence its presence. There are people who attend the church, who move within groups related to their social position, and in which that human nature is seen to act.
we must take special care in our attitudes towards people, God does not make any exception.
