Incredibles, 2004, is a very cool animation movie with exciting action, good humor, cool characters and a very charismatic villain. Beauty Elastigirl deserves a special mention! Yeah, Bob Parr is so lucky. If he was, in fact, the main character of the first part, the second one, is mostly devoted to Helen Parr, his wife.
The sequel starts right from the moment where the first part ended (an occasion to watch the first Incredibles again) and opens by an exciting action scene with the participation of the entire superfamily. It is at this point that you understand that 14 years of waiting have been justified.
This is the same Incredibles!
However, this time the narrative vector, as I said, is shifting to Elastigirl. Helen Parr starts her own way, and Bob is forced to sit with children. The situation is complicated when Jack-Jack reveals a whole set of superpowers. Realizing that Bob alone is not able to cope with children, we begin to understand how heroic Helen was staying at home alone with this trio, while Bob made his feats. It turns out that Mr. Incredible, even with all his superpower is a complete nonprofessional in babysitting. The animation film intentionally builds the situation on a way, where it shows us and Bob that being a mother is the main superpower!
Talking about the villain in this sequel, I can say that the idea of not revealing who it is to the end of the film is not bad, but the villain himself is inferior to the Syndrome from the first movie. However, this doesn’t ruin the impression of viewing.
Yes, Brad Bird did it again! The second part is definitely successful. I can praise it for a long time. There are very ingenious scenes of action, wonderful dialogues, jokes and music. Graphics and animation are also great.
Thanks Pixar! The main message of this film is still the same - the family is the main thing. The idea works on all 100% as well as 14 years ago.
