Hi, my beloved Steemians. So, as i have promised, this post is the continuation of the previous "BitScreener - Crypto-tracking has never been easier", but this time, i’m talking about the App Version.
If you’re new to the name, BitScreener is a real-time tracker that observes the movement of the crypto-market , with many amazing features ready to serve users. You can check my previous post to know the basics of this platform. As of now, i’m going to focus on today’s main topic - The app version.
As they are built on the same database by the same team of developers, the basic functions are pretty much the same. However, the app version has much more to offer on its own. Since there is so much to talk about it, I’ll divide this post into the following categories and give review on each of them separate. So, here they are.
1. Functionality: Aside from the Heatmap, the app retains all the features included in the web version, and adds a few more off its own. At the opening of the app is the watchlist, which you can add the cryptos you find interesting and keep yourself informed everyone you log into the app. For more specificity, switch over to the portfolio section and choose for yourself a collection of your favorite coin. As far as the newly updated version of the app goes, you can watch the total performance of the porfolio presented in a chart as below.
Back to the Watchlist, and scroll down the page, you will see a lot of critera, they are for you to screen the coins that you may find interesting.
Last but not least, for immediate response to the market, click on the alert and choose the market movement to react to.
2. Interface design: Pretty snazzy and easy to watch, to say the least. Those guys behind this app are really successful in making it not only useful but also a wonderful sight to see. If that’s not enough, click “More” and change the setting to suit your personal taste. For example, find the color theme, and choose between day and night to switch the color between black and white:
Moreover, you can choose the currency of your country for easy calculation, change language between English and Spanish (which is a shame cuz’ there should be more languages available). But anyway, this app is bound to get a whole lot of extension in the future!.
3. Accessability: You can now get BitScreener on App Store and Google play, FOR FREE. However, to get access to the full version, it will charge you a monthly fee of $4.99/month, or $41.99/year. They need money to run their business, anyway!
- VERDICT:
a. The good:
- Prolific database.
- Various functions, namely Portfolio, Screening and Alert.
- Super nice interface design.
- Free download
b. The great: - Everything is updated on a real-time basis, you can get the app and say goodbye to FOMO.
c. The not-so-good: - Pop-up ads in the free version.
- To get the full, unlimited version, you’ll have to pay 41.99 USD/year or 3.41 USD/month. Not a big amount of money, and you can get access to possibly one of the best crypto-financial apps in the world, so it’s really, really good value for money here!
All in all, if your on a quest to search for fortune in the world of crypto, you want to keep up with the market current, this is the one app for you!
