Thanks for the info, I have never used bitshare before. I stick with the top exchanges such as Binance and Bittrex. I feel extremely safe with both of those exchanges! Would like to hear your thoughts on those! @xyzashu

Well, both of these are centralized exchanges and are not hack proof. Only last month there was an attempt on Binance in which many accounts were compromised. Bittrex was also hacked last year. More over, problem of temporary suspension of withdrawals / deposits from your wallet is regular at both of these exchanges.
There is nothing better than a DEX. But unfortunately, the speed and volumes are currently with centralized exchanges so most people trade at these exchanges. You should be cautious while using these exchanges to not to hold huge funds in your wallets and withdraw your funds to a DEX or a hardware wallet and only keep as much as is required for your regular trading at these exchanges. This will reduce some risk if not all.
I agree, but don't you think Binance and Bittrex would reimburse if you loss money or at least almost a full reimbursement? It would be amazing if you made another post on showing the process of withdrawing funds to a DEX or hardware wallet. You're the best, thanks for this informative post brother! @xyzashu
