SM6 Carplay Simple Use

I am riding the 2016 SM6.

The carplay function is included until 18 years, but the carplay function is disabled because the USB socket is not certified by Apple.
I tried to save the carplay function while coding other functions, and later, when the vertical full display was supported, I tried to use the carplay .... Why did the carplay function on the existing vehicle (car without a socket)? I knew you disabled it.

Once activated by coding, the phone and s-link keep trying to connect carplay. Your phone periodically makes a connection alarm. And after five minutes, it stops doing this, and at the same time, it disconnects. I can't charge it. -_-

So I replaced the USB socket. USB socket for SM6 was too expensive (90,000 won ...), but some people said that QM6 was compatible (approximately 450,000 won), so I bought it for QM6 and replaced it. Unlike the old LeSam's notorious (?), He only needed one henna. It took about 10 minutes to open and replace the gear bar.

As soon as you change the socket, your phone will be connected to CarPlay when connected to USB. Some cars may not be connected to the car play depending on the USB socket. Once this is connected to either of the two front seat USB, the car play is connected.

Anyway ... to start with,

If you run an existing S-Link infotainment system, it will go up to 90 points when you connect the car play. In fact, you can go up to 100 points by looking at the functions. The car play of the ios12 is made by a person who has never driven a car.

  1. Not supporting vertical full display is a problem that can be solved by ios going up to 13 and S-link going up, but for now it's only half way up and down.

  2. Make Carplay like an iPhone, so the screen that appears on Carplay must be floating on the iPhone. In other words ... After watching Navi and going out for a while to check out katok, Navi will turn off in Carplay -_-

  3. Likewise ... When the SMS comes to read and say what do you do ... Navi goes off and reads in ... Do not ... Katok or telegram is not supported.

  4. Anything you hear on your phone reduces music (even keyboard sounds ...)

  5. Tethering doesn't automatically attach when you connect CarPlay. (Well, you don't need to use CarPlay Navi, but Android automatically turns on tethering just by connecting to Bluetooth ...)

If you look up to this point, why would you want to use this .. Navi uses the existing S-LINK and carplay for multimedia use.

  1. Once I use USB instead of Bluetooth, the call quality improves significantly (in the past, even if I connected my phone with USB, the call had to be connected via Bluetooth).

  2. Respond tremendously fast when changing songs. Responsiveness like changing directly on the iPhone.

  3. In the past, when connected via Bluetooth or USB, there was a time when music was not coming out from video services such as YouTube View or Twitch, instead of pure music app (in this case, the music app had to be turned on once to turn on the song.) Never a problem).

  4. In addition, in Ubute, not pure music app, sometimes skipping songs is sometimes very good.

  5. Album art quality is up. The album art is blurry when I connect it to the existing USB or Blu-ray on s-link, but it is very clear.

  6. Video-to-audio sync is of course a good fit (previously a little bit wrong even with a USB connection).

Therefore ... At the moment, only tethering is automatically attached, but the best ... (Le Samcha gets T-map real-time data when tethering is attached). Is the same. Satisfaction with socket replacement price is good. In addition, many of the problems mentioned above are solved in ios13.
