Does college degree still matter?

Is college degree still relevant in this fast & moving digital age?

One might argue for a more abstract reality: it's far better to place utmost importance on creativity and dream than pursuing a degree. It's true today’s education is just within a finger click away and much of it is free online at Google & Harvard.

Those dropped out like Mark of Facebook and Bills of Microsoft are alive examples of how education has failed the expectation of others. It's a harbinger of an edu evolution or even a big change in educational system itself.

It's rather weird if bulking idea can help people achieve something. These live successful individuals do not simply drop out and turn their into farce; they drop out because they clearly understand the opportunity cost. It's a choice that can change and turn the world around.

Overall, education is still core to human beings. It's about how education can help students be more creative, adaptable, curious and able to understand and share feelings of others.ce2ce23e-c5a6-4f41-89b7-0e6b1ef5cf0a-original.jpeg

I stopped my education after 2 years. Just decided I had enough and was not interested in going deeper into debt even though community college, where i live, is a lot more reasonable. I think for those interested in more education, but not unreasonable amounts of debt, community colleges still have a lot to offer w/out the pricetag!! How many times when you go to the doc/chiropractor do you check where they went to school first? ;)

I personally think it really relies on what you want to do in life! As a researcher hoping to go on to become a staff scientist, multiple degrees have been a necessity for my career. However, there are so many other opportunities that don't require a degree at all in which you can make huge sums of money! I think individuals are finally finding these pathways and really taking advantage of not having to pay for an education!
