RE: What Is The Ideal Share Of Attention? Can We Be Successful Content Creators And Fair Curators At The Same Time?

Have whale bots made human curation redundant on Steemit?

The moment you decide to support one person you automatically decide to NOT support another.

You are assuming that all curation is done by humans, @surfermarly. It would be interesting to find out:
1. How much do bots curate?

1.1 Raw votes?
1.2 Voting percentages?
1.3 Voting strength?
1.3 Net impact on rewards?

Anecdotally, I assume that human curation has an insignificant impact on Steemit curation. Is human curation relevant on Steemit anymore?
2. Human curation depends on:

2.1 Integrity of the curator
2.1.1 Am I upvoting only the best content?
2.1.2 Am I gaming the upvote process?
2.1.3 Am I factoring in the maximum return from the upvote for myself?
2.2 The human attention span
2.2.1 How much time can I dedicate to curation?
2.2.2 What is the cash value of my time? Is curation worth it? Compared with other things that generate cash for me?

Now I'd love to know how you manage to distribute your voting power 'fairly'?

I've not cracked the code on how to be fair on Steemit. More important, I wonder if it is even possible to be just when curating?
