I have not joined any riding convoy for almost a year now. Currently, my time is busy with my work schedule. I have to travel frequently to other branches located all over Peninsular Malaysia.
Last week, I received a call from a friend asking whether I wanted to join a convoy to Awana. It will be for a dinner event that was organized by Takong Racing.
Takong Racing is a shop specialist in riding apparel and motorcycle accessories. The shop is located at Taman Pertama Cheras. Most of my riding apparel was bought from Takong Racing.
The convoy was held last Sunday, and coincidentally I was not busy with anything that day. So I told my friend that I will be able to join the convoy. During the event day, before heading to Awana, the organizer has set a rendezvous point which is at Petronas Gombak.
At the rendevous point, we were given a T-shirt and an envelope containing a piece of paper. On top of the paper printed a number that will be used for the lucky draw during the dinner session.
We make a move from Petronas Gombak at 4 pm and arrive at Awan at 6.30 pm. We were then instructed to gather for a group photo. After the group photo, we start walking into Awana Hotel.
Overall the experience was great. However, I am not lucky enough to win any of the lucky draw prizes 😅
