A big hug to you all, my friends, even if it's virtual, I'm sending it with lots of love. Today I was drawing a musical instrument, the Alto Recorder. You can identify it if you look for it in deck i139. This instrument is a recorder. As I promised a few weeks ago, I'll soon bring you a drawing of other flutes that can be found in decks.

And well, today that promise has been fulfilled with this drawing dedicated to the alto recorder. I don't know if you remember, but quite some time ago I mentioned that wind instruments are my favorites, and I'm not just talking about the game; I mean music in general. I really enjoy listening to music made with flutes. If I had to mention a flute song that fascinates me, I would tell you without hesitation that it's the main theme from the movie Titanic. You know, the song from the credits; well, it would be very strange if you didn't know it 😂😂.
Well, that song has several versions made with flutes, but there's one in particular that's made with the alto recorder, and it's one of my favorite versions. So I was very excited to paint it today.
The instrument itself is very simple; it's just a tube full of holes with a mouthpiece for the air intake and another for the exhaust. But of course, don't be fooled by its simple shape, because it's very versatile in the hands of a good flutist. It is also called a recorder because of the way it is played, that is, from the front and not from the side.

Friends, so far, while we've been talking, I've shown you how I drew the initial parts of the drawing. For example, the base and then the flute in the middle of it. Next, you saw how I colored it with colored pencils, and now you'll see how it turned out.

Thank you for visiting my post today. Hugs and see you next time.
