Nice to meet you. Colleagues. Today I painted the letter i174 12 Bar Chime. It will be really fun to see how I drew it step by step and how I painted it, so I want to invite you to see the full post. Well, before I start seeing how I did it, I'd like to tell you a little about this instrument. As you can see, it's made of small tubes hung from a piece of wood by strings. The instrument produces its music when a person slides a stick along the different tubes. You can play specific ones or all of them at the same time by sliding the stick.

I can distinguish the sound from among many others. In fact, even someone without much musical experience can distinguish it among other instruments in an orchestra. The tubes produce a sound like sparks. It's very difficult to describe the sound; I think you should listen to it. The only way I can describe it is to say what it's used for, for example, when you want to create a fantasy or magical atmosphere. It can also be used when showing a movie about space or the stars.

You've already got a rough idea of what it's used for. It's for things that want to create a magical atmosphere. And I'm not just saying this to make it sound pretty; the instrument is designed for those musical genres. I really love it. When you finish reading this post, go to YouTube and watch a video of the instrument to see what I'm talking about. Then let's start with the drawing. First, I made the frame for the card.

Once the frame was finished, I made the instrument. I started by making the wooden piece and then made the various tubes that make it up into an elongated rectangular shape.

In the details section, I added the strings that hold them to the wooden piece. I also added the little holes that allow air to escape from inside. Because I hadn't told you before that the tubes are hollow inside to amplify the sound.

For painting I used several digital spray effects, especially to shade the background part of the card and to paint the bottom part of the instrument.

Finally, my dear colleagues, here you can see the finished drawing. I wrote the name of the game where the letter's message would go, and I also added the name and category. That's it.

Thanks for watching until the end, colleagues. See you later. Have a blessed day.
