It's been a few days since I last brought you a new drawing dedicated to one of the game's frequency modulators. As you know from my previous drawings, I already have a series dedicated to them, so I'm pleased to inform you that today I'm going to make a new one. Today's is the one on the i175 NV3 Compressor card. This is a fairly small modulator compared to the others I've made, which have been a bit larger, but that doesn't mean it's not very beautiful and interesting. Its shape reminds me of classic car audio players. 😅

But obviously, that's not it. It's a device responsible for modulating the sound of the instrument connected to it to create music. This is widely used in electronic music songs and in recording studios to create the best possible sound. It's common to see them connected next to others when it's necessary to connect several instruments. Well, now I want to show you how I made it. First, I made the frame of the card.

Once I had the frame ready, I started making the modulator. I designed the modulator with a rectangular shape, just like the original card I showed you on the cover. I then transformed the simple rectangle into a rectangle with a small frame around the first one, and in the background, I made some slanted lines to simulate that part being behind the first rectangle. With that ready, you can almost see the final body of the modulator. What I've done, in simple terms, is create its body and silhouette.

Now I move on to adding the aesthetic details to make it look more attractive. This is where I clearly added the audio adjustment knobs. I also added the instrument input and output ports, finally the screws, and a row of light bulbs to give the device a more attractive look.

Let's paint. I want to show you how I painted everything. Notice I used a digital spray paint for the parts around the modulator at the bottom. I also took the creativity to add a different color to the modulator's bulbs. These aren't on the original card, but that doesn't matter; this is fan art; it doesn't have to be exactly the same. That's the beauty of always adding something of your own.

Finally, I show you the final result with all the details added, including the name of the card and the name of the game.

See you in the next drawing.
