Colleagues, I hope you're having a happy day. I wish you a day full of blessings. Today I want to share my new drawing. This one is dedicated to the letter i215 Sackbut Trombone. This would be the third trombone I've painted; if you haven't seen the previous ones, I invite you to do so. Previously, I painted the trombone yellow and then the blue one. Today's trombone is known as the Sackbut and is quite beautiful. Many may not know that this trombone is much older than they imagine. It was built and invented during the Renaissance, so you can imagine it's been around for a good number of years since it's been with us in this century.

I'm someone who really likes how things work, so I tend to watch a lot of videos on a topic when it interests me. So before writing this post, I watched the following video, which I also invite you to watch. That video explains quite well how to play this trombone and the main advantages of modern trombones compared to older ones like the one I'm drawing today.

There was one detail that caught my attention, and that's that the name of this trombone, which is quite curious, comes from French and literally means "push and pull." It's funny because that's exactly how music is made with all trombones. They have a sliding part that, depending on where it is, creates the notes. If you want to learn more, I highly recommend watching that video; that channel is very high-quality and explains everything about different instruments very well. And since everyone here at Rising Star loves music, I think it's a must-see as well.

Moving on to the drawing, I always start by making the frame of the card. That frame is made up of two large outer rectangles and two inner ones, making a total of four. At the bottom of the large frame, I always make a notch to later add the card category, which is common. I made the notch a little simpler today, without dividing lines. This makes it look nicer.

With the frame ready, I then made the silhouette of the trombone. I started by making the part of the horn where the air comes out, and then the entire trombone body.

In the details section, I added the parts that join the horn to the slide. Now it really looks like a trombone.

To paint it, I used the same color palette as the original card. I just made a few adjustments to make it look a little different. I used a spray paint effect to create the background.

To conclude, my dear friends, I'm showing you the finished drawing, including the game name and other additional details to make the card even more beautiful. See you in the next post. Have a blessed day.
