So I'm sure you've heard, unless you've been living under a rock the last couple of days, that the millennial focused stock company RobinHood is jumping into the cryptocurrency world by adding the option to buy, sell, and trade cryptocurrency on their RobinHood platform. As it says on the http://www.crypto.robinhood.com site "Invest in Bitcoin & other cryptocurrencies, 24/7 & commission-free."

Here's what they are offering when the RobinHoodCrypto site launches:

Everything in One Place

Cryptocurrencies, stocks, ETFs, and options are now available side by side — all easily accessible in one app.
Managing your investments just got even easier.

Instant Access to Funds

Get instant access to your funds when you deposit or sell stocks to buy cryptocurrencies. On Robinhood you’ll never miss out on an investment opportunity again.

Secure & Trusted

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are now available on our trusted, secure investment platform. We use cutting-edge security measures to protect your assets and your personal information.

They also take a shot at other cryptocurrency exchanges that offer fiat based exchanges via credit and debit cards (like coinbase not pointing any cursors but....you know), by saying "stop paying those absorbent fees to buy cryptocurrency" is making this very promising since for many U.S. based customers there aren't many ways to buy cryptocurrency with a debit or credit card due to large amount of scammers and also regulations from state to state that may prohibit such purchases in the first place.

The availability of RobinHood Crypto will be limited to the states listed in their FAQ section and it says "Robinhood Crypto will initially be available to customers in California, Massachusetts, Missouri, Montana, and New Hampshire. We plan to add support for more states soon." So don't get your hopes too much if you live in any other state than the ones mentioned then you'll be stuck with whatever way you've been using until RobinHood Crypto decides it will roll out the service to other U.S. states. Happy investing and HODL

HODL is right! I'm pretty excited to see what RobinHood ultimately brings to the table. The more competition, the better the pricing and the more innovation will force all the current players to up their game. (You Listening Coinbase!?!?!?!?).
