Robots and Recession

in #robots2 years ago

In my opinion this is myth that Meta employees were laid off due to robots stealing their jobs
Many tech giants are laying off to get more work from existing employees and they do no intend to fill in the empty positions
They are also preparing for the recession to get greater work from lesser employees and also improve efficiency to grow the company

As for robots taking up jobs of humans, humans need to upskill with new technologies and in demand skills to stay in the field, because even with more robots, there is highest need for people in field of AI and robotics both
So it replaces redundant tasks with more efficient robots but also creates more jobs for people to create these robots and maintain them.
