SpaceX launches SAOCOM 1B [Postponed due to COVID-19]

SpaceX is launching SAOCOM 1B, an earth observation satellite for Argentina's Space Agency.

The booster is a Block 5.

The mission to low earth sun synchronous orbit will launch from SLC 40 at Kennedy Space Center. The first stage will land back on land at LZ 1.

Cargo:

  • Payload mass is approximately 1,7 tonnes
  • Primary mission: SAOCOM 1B
  • Secondary mission: smallsats GNOMES-1 and Sequoia
