I found out about the contest initiated by @anomadsoul where he will be giving away some major delegated Steem Power. I wanted to nominate someone who fits all the criteria to win. I wanted to nominate someone participating in the community and that is working to help build it in a positive way. One of the most positive things I could think of when it comes to helping this community grow is helping new people on the platform. From what I got from the original contest post that you can read here, this contest and reward is for those that don't have the power to help the community as much as they could.

I know when I first started Steemit, not so long ago, it was confusing and quite intimidating. There were a few select Steemians that made me feel welcome or helped me out with the newbie stuff... or even answered a question or two about coding and markdown... and that is what I won't forget. @GoGoGadgetUpvote was one of the first people I came across that was taking the initiative as an individual to help get new introduction posts more widely circulated and upvoted. My favorite part is that he had criteria and standards too! Having quality control while at the same time helping those first getting started to get engaged and plugged in to the community with incentive I felt was priceless.

I don't even have a slider yet... so I have to be a bit sparing myself when voting as not to exhaust my voting power, I can only begin to imagine how complicated it gets when you have a community or objective to accomplish. I witnessed firsthand that @GoGoGadgetUpvote is a terrific steward of delegated SP. He was one of the first people that inspired me to always be on the hunt to help out newer people too. Sharing is caring and every intro post of quality I would tag him in the post. (Steemit doesn't notify you of when you are tagged YET! But it Should!) I didn't want the daily bounty... I just wanted to give back in the same way the community had given to me.

The Almost "Daily Introduceyourself Bounty" Contest is extremely beneficial and I feel deserves some more support from people that have it to lend! I feel it's one of the most encouraging and least confusing way to help out new people with their entry onto the platform as well as a very interesting way to offer alluring incentives to curate in that area! The irony is that the "Learn Something New Every Day" Contest, which is extremely engaging and fun, has become more rewarding by participation than the almost daily introduce yourself contest. I feel this may change if there was more to offer in incentives for the curation of the introduce my/yourself categories. Who knows what other creative initiatives Gadget could come up with if The Inspector had more SP to work with?!

This is the spirit of what will make Steemit the place we all see it becoming. As this platform grows we will need people like @blocktrades and @anomadsoul and @gogogadgetupvote to be there helping develop what truly gives and brings value to the plaform as a whole and all of it's communities, The Steemians! I am sorry my entry was so late... but I truly hope you or any Big Fish will consider offering @GoGoGadgetUpvote some delgated Steem Power in support of all the selfless work yet to be done! The Inspector gets my vote for the Role Model Steemian Contest!

This is wonderful, to be honest I expected a lot more posts from us steemians that follow and support @gogogadgetupvote work and himself as a person, and the support he gives out to everyone of us steemians! But even these 3 posts I can't be thankful enough that we made them and the possibility for him to get the delegation, now we just need to wait and see!
Yes, It's hurry up and wait now! I think it's hard to keep up with what's going on all the time on Steemit... so it's good to have more community involvement. I wasn't sure where to get in where i fit in at first. I know many probably felt or still feel that way. That is one of the best parts of Steemit is that we can all learn and grow together! It was your post that got me to get involved here! So it's working. =) Thank You

Honestly, I feel blessed having ANY of these "rolemodel" posts dedicated to me, let alone 3 of them! I am really glad that I have been able to encourage so many people on the platform! Delegation or not, I am still going to keep doing what I do! Your support helps make my contests possible, and they really are a lot of fun to run. But 3 posts and several comments on each of those posts endorsing me has definitely got to say something. Thank you again for your encouragement, it really means a lot to me!
Always my friend, I can't wait to have some capital to rent sp, and to find out where because it's not working on minnowbooster or I'm just stupid.. It's good feeling to like and give plenty, I am sad that there's no slider when you don't have 500 sp because my usual 6 cents vote turned to 1 :/
I didn't know about them but all those who make easier for newcomers to enjoy and stick on the community deserves my repect and support.
There is nothing I can do on this subject but follow them and vote , a little bit from me.
I've created a whatsapp group for my friends and family that I've attracted here and graphic tutorials are on the way so maybe they have not to suffer looking for a quick help.
More projects are waiting but I have to be realistic and slowly but constantly manage times so I can get them complete.

Yes, I did submit this link on the original post before the deadline on a separate thread than the one y'all had going. I really am thankful for you buddy and I know many others are as well. You may not realize the impact you have had on so many newbies... but it's pretty significant imho.
