Experts explained why the Fund has not yet decided to open a new loan program for Ukraine
On Thursday, September 26, the mission of the International Monetary Fund completed its work and left Ukraine. She has been here since September 12, and her main task was to discuss the terms of the new expanded financing program, which the leadership of Ukraine asked for.
Opinions on the outcome of this visit - official and unofficial - were diametrically opposed. The official press release on the completion of the mission was compiled in an official neutral tone (as, incidentally, as it should be in similar documents) and ended with promises of soon meetings.
