Sub Zero Commitment #RunForSteem

in #runforsteem8 years ago

My group never fail to amaze me! Most of them are new to running and very few of them are club runners. Yet tonight I had 13 show up in sub zero temperatures with a dusting of snow on the ground to get their Tuesday night run in!

Amazing stuff - sounds like I need to break out of my winter treadmill routine soon and switch things up!

Nothing beats running outside! But completely understand conditions for some make outdoor running in winter impossible.

Good they got you Dan. I'd be worried for the ladies to run alone. Maybe I'm paranoid from all the dead women here in Germany

The town is friendly and safe so not a problem. In fact, in all parts of the UK (except a few small areas in the big cities) people would be fine.

Kind reminder:

Check new nominated Running Authors of the week and vote for yours!

A little cold shouldn't put them off. You soon warm up anyway.

You'd be surprised what a barrier it can be to new runners - my group is usually 25-30 strong!
