Weekly Ish Running Update: more but slower!

I managed an amazing FIVE runs in the last 6 days, which sounds mental

Last Sunday's run: easy 6K

I had limited time to get out for a run, and so opted for a bit of a hotch potch ad hoc local route, I used this as an opportunity to check out a local park where we're to see fire works this Saturday, some walking, very easy!

NB I had a few stops, so the HR is artificially low!

This Monday's Run: Intervals 1

Just headed to the local park and did my standard 6* 400 ish intervals...

Tuesday's Run: Long and intervals

I had to pick up some bits from Halfords and so I decided to run there, which was 8Ks and I decided to some intervals for part of that, it really was making the best of a bad situation, quite enjoyed myself in the end!

Thursday's Run: Qick-ish 5K plus a few intervals

I headed out intending to do some intervals, after a day's rest, but my right hamstring was feeling a little tight so I thought better of it and then just did a fast-ish 5K instead....

I did actually intend to six, but I made that up with intervals...

Today's Run (Friday) - easy 6K

This was really about getting one in as it's unlikely I'm gona be doing any running this weekend!

I've found my slower pace for my lower HR runs now!

Final thoughts...

One of my best week's running yet, but my legs are pretty tired!

At least your slow runs are slower than my quick ones :) I mix it up a bit and seem to be making progress. It's getting to that time of the year when you have to decide if it's worth braving the weather, but so far it's not too bad.
