Im not quite old enough, but.... I'm not the most intelligent, but probably not more stupid than the average citizen. Honestly I believe that I'am a little bit smarter than an average Russian citizen. I was born in the city on the Volga. Ordinary boy from an ordinary family. Childhood in one flat for two families. Waiting for bananas as a birthday gift and a bottle of Fanta. WOW i was waiting for bananas so hard!
But I liked it, I was happy, grew up in the best country, the winner of all, and I thought that im a winner either! Then university, 60 rubles (1 usd) per week for pocket expanses, 40 rubles (0.6 usd) for travel and 20 (0.3 usd) to buy a couple of hot dogs. I live in a best country, but I envy those who live in the better.
Afterwards - work. Well settled, 13,500 rubles (200 usd) immediately after university WOW !!! This was considered good. A little bit later it was raised to 220 usd, Karl!!! Yard friends so envy, ofcourse.. im the only one with higher education within our team.
I told my dad that I am a patriot i will never leave the country! But he only smiled and said: All ripen at one time. Then growing, family, children. So Im kinda a lead engineer, got 30k (500 usd) rubles per month. That's a good salary in our city. Fruits, vegetables, certainly not on holidays, but not in the daily diet. Standard purchase of chicken, milk, eggs. 5-year-old foreign loaned car.
Life from salary to salary. And that way all my life? And if that happens? No, that's not something we have. Someone is fucking us I bet!. We are a great country, and I am a good specialist in it. A lot of fun, Increadible salary 70k rubles (1100 usd per month). But what about here! There are roads, gasoline is not urine, there is parking, children's playgrounds. And finally purity as compared to the homeland.
And then comes the realization that everything is worse than it is, despite the fact that it became like better. Chewing a banana that had not rotted on the table, you realize that it is not happiness. Do not pay the loan for a car, and take a mortgage, go on holiday to Turkey. Although a small country, it is happiness. Two years later, I've changed a place of work. Grown up 130k rubles (2000 usd per month). I guess its not bad, i've got a salary higher than 90% of the citizen in Russia and average in Moscow..in CAPITAL!!

I like Russia, without sarcasm, honestly, very much. Everyone is robbing it and it has a lot of wealth,,, but we left only with our @lets proud of it@. I recommend you to proud from abroad - it is my patriotic position.
