Quick and easy chocolate cream dessert!

Who doesn't love some yummy chocolate cream treat? Today I'm gonna show you the very very easy, quick and cheap dessert I offered our guests during last Sunday's barbecue.

First off, the...

Ingredients

  • 800 ml of milk
  • 200 ml of cream the recipe said light - 12% fat)
  • 200 gr of granulated sugar
  • 100 gr of cocoa powder
  • 90 gr of cornstarch
  • 2 vanillas
  • one tablespoon of butter (my personal touch to give that cream a smoother texture and richer aroma)

All you have to do is put all the ingredients except for the butter in a pot and never stop stirring until you get a nice thick cream. Then, you remove from the fire, add the butter and keep stirring until it's completely absorbed by the cream.

If you don't want to have your cream "unaccompanied", some biscuits crumble make the perfect base for it (you can always add some melted butter, but I was too lazy to do so).

Pour the cream on top of the crumbles, add a whole biscuit for decoration...

Some more biscuit crumbles on top and a few leftover Christmas chocolates that were forgotten in the fridge...

And there you have it!!

Delicious chocolate cream!

You can also add some alcohol in the cream to get a more intense taste and aroma (a liqueur would be perfect or some cognac maybe), nuts or dried berries or raisins in the base would also be a nice twist. It always depends on what's in your kitchen cabinets and your imagination!

All I know is that I made it for the first time, we liked it and I am definitely making it again!

So, you just came up with a recipe that we are now all borrowing? My brood must taste this and for that, I am thankful in advance xD

Hopefully you good love 🧡

I actually found it on a youtube channel and I changed it a little :P The good thing is, if you don't have cream, just a bit more milk will do and that cornstarch and cocoa powder are so cheap and I always have them around the house, so it's gonna become one of my "sweet emergency" recipes :P

We're all doing fine, waiting for our second "bun in the oven" to come late May to early June! I hope everything works out fine for you too! 💜💜

YouTube is the mother of good finds 👌🏽

Congrats Ma! How divine 🔆

I am looking forward to better 🧡

Yummy

That looks really yummy. I saved the recipe, gonna give it a try. Thanks

Here's the video ;)

Looks delicious and easy to make, thanks for the recipe, will definite try this soon. Love the touch of the crumbs on top to add texture.

Looks very good. I'm hungry now.
