Morgen früh fliege ich von Dresden nach Mallorca. Von von Palma aus starte ich mit einigen Freunden einen einwöchigen Segeltörn. Wir haben vor, zunächst entlang der Südküste ostwärts, und dann weiter zur Insel Cabrera zu segeln. In diesem Naturschutzgebiet werden wir einen Tag verbringen. Im weiteren Verlauf haben wir vor die schönsten Buchten und Strände an Mallorcas Süd-Ostküste zu besuchen.

Tomorrow morning I will fly from Dresden to Mallorca. From Palma I start a one week sailing trip with some friends. We plan to sail first along the south coast eastwards, and then on to the island of Cabrera. We will spend a day in this nature reserve. In the further course we plan to visit the most beautiful bays and beaches on Mallorca's south-east coast.

Ursprünglich hatte ich geplant Anfang September selbst eine Segelyacht in Italien zu mieten. Meine Vorreservierung wurde im Frühjahr vom Verscharterer wegen Corona abgesagt. Umso glücklicher bin ich, dass sich jetzt kurzfristig eine Möglichkeit ergeben hat mich befreundeten Segelern anzuschließen. Das Wetter für nächste Woche sieht gut aus, der Windfinder verspricht eine beständige Brise.
Sofern ich Netz habe, werde ich gelegentlich berichten.

Originally I had planned to rent a sailing yacht in Italy myself at the beginning of September. My pre-reservation was cancelled by the charter company in spring because of Corona. So I am all the happier that there is now a short-term opportunity to join sailing friends. The weather for next week looks good, the Windfinder promises a steady breeze.
