The recipe for the original citrus-herring salad

Such a snack and original salad of citrus fruits and herrings should be put on a festive one, as it will appeal to all guests without any exception.

Such a snack salad is prepared rather quickly, and its preparation technology can not be called difficult.

So, for the preparation of snack citrus-herring lettuce you will need such components as:

  • Leaves of fresh lemon balm for registration (at your discretion);

  • juice freshly squeezed lemon-orange (54 ml);

  • vegetable oil refined for refueling (four items of a spoon);

  • pieces of lightly salted herring (six pieces);

  • medium-sized lemon (two pieces);

  • wine vinegar (one and a half tablespoons);

  • oranges are not very large (two pieces);

  • sea fine salt (to your taste);

  • green onions (one small bunch);

  • chopped black pepper (to your taste).

With a very sharp knife, clean all the citrus fruits, then additionally and very carefully remove the white film from the pulp. Transfer the processed pulp of all citrus fruits to a separate bowl, then rinse the green onions, cut into thin rings. Put aside a small amount of chopped green onion to decorate the snack salad, and pour the remaining greens into the salad bowl.

Divide the flesh of the fruit into slices, cut them into several pieces, put them in a salad bowl along with pieces of lightly salted herring, then you can proceed and prepare salad citrus dressing. And to do this, pour into the bowl of vegetable oil in a certain amount, add wine vinegar, as well as freshly squeezed juice, pour a little sea salt and ground pepper, whisk thoroughly beat the ingredients.

As soon as the citrus aromatic dressing is completely ready, it is necessary to pour it into a salad bowl with herring and fruit, put the cooked salad for an hour or two in a refrigerating chamber, and before filing to the table, decorate with fresh lemon balm and the remaining green onions.
