An indeed a very positive development. I've never had a chance to visit Saudi Arabia, however, I've spent sometime in Iran just before the presidential elections in 2009.
I've been doing a research for several articles about women rights in this country and my master's thesis about the same topic at Trinity College Dublin.
The picture of the situation then was pretty grim. Who knew that 9 years later we will see some signs of liberalisation?
