Yogurt with Rice

This is our lunch. Last night rice, yogurt along with ginger chutney and raw small onion / scallop. A pitch of Himalaya salt.

Actually, its call Rice Kanji. If you left the rice overnight with water in an earthen clay-pot, it will fermented and then drink it for breakfast. The rice has many health benefits accordingly to our ancestor. They are as follows:-

  1. reduce body heat and keep us cool
  2. rich in fiber, help to relief constipation
  3. refresh us and keep us charge for the day
  4. for those of you, who are suffering from ulcer, take this rice for three mornings...wallah!!! speedy recovery.
  5. no need tea or coffee.

Study shows, leftover rice has micro-nutrients and minerals such potassium, calcium and iron.

Well, I like this way, so i had it for lunch.
