THE MATCHLESS MESSAGE

don't argue, shine! You can't conquer darkness by arguing with it. Just switch the light in. The Gospel I'd power, power for light. Preach it, then you are plugged in, and light comes on.
God's power line draw current from Calvary, from the Resurrection and from the Throne: "The gospel of Christ,... It is the power of God, " wrote the Apostle Paul in Roman 1:16. He knew, he proved it. The world in his day could not have been worse: cruel, corrupt and cynical. Yet the gospel changed it. The gospel can do it again.
HOW TO LET THE POWER GOSPEL LOOSE ON THE WORLD
one preacher told me he want a transformation to reduce the emotional appeal of the Gospel, to turn the message from high voltage to low voltage. But converting sinners requires full Gospel power. Preach to convict and convert. Your job is not to entertain, not to make poeple smile amd go home feeling cozy. Salvation is not soothing syrup save souls, don't stroke them! Smiling happiness will follow
We habe an example of a master evangelist in Act 7, Philip the evangelist had a divine appointment in the road with an Ethiopian official. The Ethiopian was a queen's financial chief, a man of business, with no time for small talk. Philip didn't bother to ask what the man's needs were in order to start counseling him for hours. No, he didn't fall into that trap. Philip knew the man's need was plain and simple: The Ethiopian eunuch needed Christ. Salvation is everyone's need Philip got down to essentials. He "preached Jesus to him" (Act, 8:35)
Jesus is the Beginning and the End of every gospel sermon the Alpha and the Omega of all witness. Er are not doctrine mongers we are not religion preachers. We are to Christ, He is the be-all-and-the-end-all of the message.
What did Jesus preached? Jesus talked about Himself, in the Emmaus Road, walking with Cleopas and a friend, He explained to them, going throughout the scripture, the "things concerning Himself " (Luke 24:27(. All His teaching goes back to Himself.
Take one instance, for example, After He had left Nazareth, and begun His wonderful ministry, the Gospel of Luke tells us that Jesus returned one day and went into the synagogue. For 20 years He had attended that very synagogue faithfully every week. The custom was to allow men who were known, to read the Scripture and perhaps comment on them afterward. Naturally, when Jesus was present at the synagogue again He was invited to do this.
The spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he had anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, He has sent ke to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captive and recovery of sight ti the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the acceptable year if the Lord. (Luke 4:18-19). But today our church today isn't for the poor, not for the brokenhearted, not for the oppressed. Proclaim libert! Do not preach for effects, for pulpit display, or to charm, excite, or scare folk. Do not preach to calm poeple down. You can preach for all kinds of effects but Jesus simply announveced liberty. He proclaimed that day in the synagogue, that the jubilee. Not merely for Israel, but for the whole world. Jubilee for everyone, both poor and rich.
Yet, His message was wonderful freedom, deliverance, healing amd no dept! But whatever the reaction, Jesus preached His Gospel. That's what the church today should start emulating. So preach it! People as already forgotten, forgotten that Christ has already come. This is not the pre-Christian era. We are not waiting for Christ to come and conquer. The war us over. Freedom is ours, Jesus has opened the kingdom of liberty and blown the trumpet of emancipation when He cried on the Cross. "It is finished!"
Its time for the church to go back ti the matchless message. Preach it! Don't wait for the reaction. Plant the true gospel in them and water it with sincerity. Jesus as finished it all. Do His will and the battle you've been fighting un your generation will be over in no time. Only the matchless message can save the world
