Ecclesiastes 9:11
“I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all."

Romans 9:16 “So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.”

The idea that formal education is the cure for poverty is archaic. In the world today, the wealthiest are not necessarily the most educated. This is not disparaging the importance of formal education but the reality is that the number of degrees a man has doesn’t necessarily translate into wealth. University Professors need grants from private companies and government to fund their research. The kind of education that creates wealth is that which enlightens the mind to be able to see opportunities for wealth creation, and also gives the technical know-how to make the most of such opportunities.

Mere certificates without required skills with which to solve problems and to create opportunities for wealth creation is nothing but frustration and poverty creation. Through formal education, people may earn salaries from paid employments, but it is God that gives creative ideas for wealth creation. It is God who gives wisdom and ability to recognize opportunities for wealth creation. Wealth comes as God shows you how to meet the needs of others, how to connect with people, and solve problems; this is how to create wealth and improve people’s standard of living.

There are people who don’t earn salary or work for money but while they are sleeping, their money keeps multiplying. There are systems that they have put in place for money to keep coming to them. There are basically two stages in life when it comes to wealth creation: First, working to earn money; and second, letting your money work for you such that it multiplies itself many folds. The first is earnings while the second is investments. You can do both on the go. Beloved, be sensitive to recognize divine windows for wealth creation. The race is not to the swift, the battle is not to the strong, bread is not to the wise (wisdom that comes from just formal education), wealth is not to people of understanding, nor favour to people of proficiency; but time and chance (opportunity) happens to them all. Be up praying to God to show you opportunities for wealth creation, and He sure will.

My Solid Front (Confession): I acknowledge the usefulness and benefits of education, but I also acknowledge according to God’s Word that wealth is not a product of how many degrees a man has acquired. Wealth is a gift from God, and this gift is my heritage in Christ Jesus; therefore God shows me opportunities for wealth creation in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
