In all parts of the world today there is a great shortage of leadership. That is the truth regarding government, commerce, family and society as a whole.
However, there is also a great shortage of leadership in the church.

Christ said:
"And he said unto them, Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men"
"You can not take anyone to places where you've never been"
You know that the main philosophies and religions of the world recognize body, mind, heart and spirit as parts of our being.
Each of us uses these parts to a greater or lesser extent. Some work hard to develop them and others do not even care. If you want to become a leader you must know each of these areas, value them and know how to develop them.
Think that if you are going to develop as a leader you have to learn to do three things. First know how to develop your life, your followers and finally your team.
In the case of the body, use it and take care of it. In the case of the heart and the emotions, feed them correctly, in the case of the mind, use it and develop it and, in the case of the spirit, respect it and give it place.
From each area the possibility of living using our body, love using the heart, learning using the mind and having meaning and relevance through the spirit emerges.
When we do not respect, value, use and develop each area of our person we are left without reaching all the potential that we could develop.
If we can not transform our lives into something meaningful, it will be difficult to have people who want to be guided by us. Maybe we can be placed as bosses in a mandatory way for a group of employees but that is not being a leader.
Effective leadership focuses on goals Christ came to do the will of Father John 6:38
Christ gave us a commission to do his will
Matthew 28: 19-20
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit; teaching them to keep all the things that I have commanded you; and behold, I am with you every day, until the end of the world. Amen."
Effective leadership develops an action plan.
Christ chose to develop disciples through love
John 13: 1
Love never fails
Christ, then, sent those disciples to develop others through love.
John 17: 9-19
Disciples are motivated by love
II Corinthians 5: 14-15
"Because the love of Christ constrains us, thinking this: that if one died for all, then all died; and for all he died, so that those who live may no longer live for themselves, but for him who died and was raised for them. "

Effective leadership builds relationships
Christ built relationships by going to people
John 1: 35-51
Effective leadership develops people
Christ developed fishermen until they were fishers of men
Luke 5: 1-11
Christ ministered to the crowds
Lucas 5:13
Christ developed transformed people
Acts 4:13
"Then seeing the boldness of Peter and John, and knowing that they were men without letters and the common people, they marveled, and they recognized that they had been with Jesus."
Christ raised the disciples from the level of servants to the brothers The name brothers is used more than 300 times in the New Testament (most of the time it is used to refer to Christian brothers)
Leader is the one who people follow and who has influence over people. Leadership is the ability to establish direction and influence and align others towards the same end, motivating and committing them to action and making them responsible for their performance.
We are starting at the root of the leadership issue because that is where the real and healthy foundation lies so that you can become a leader.
Currently the majority in society does not reach to develop its potential because of these two paths it is always easier to go down than up, it costs less effort and commitment in the four areas.
Johann W Goethe said that "The best way to know oneself is not contemplation, but action. We must strive to fulfill our duty and soon they will know what substance they are made of "
It is clear that in order for us to act differently in each area we must work on new habits, the habit is formed from the mixture of our knowledge, our ability and our attitude and when we incorporate it as an action in our life it generates the benefits and prepares us to grow and develop ourselves towards the challenge of leadership.
Discovering all the gifts we have received is the first step. Talents, abilities, privileges, intelligence, opportunities, etc.

The first challenge for a leader is to manage his own life well.
First present:
The freedom to choose.
It is the freedom to choose what opens us all the doors to be able to develop. That means that we are not the product of circumstances, nor of the past or of our genes, we are the product of our choices. This ability to choose is the space between the stimulus and the response.
This aspect is key for when you have to take the direction of organizations or groups since many of them suffer from the disease of not being aware that they can choose. Only a leader who has developed this capacity will be able to guide them to change and to new results. The essence of the human being is the ability to direct his own life.
This freedom of choice opens the way to another aspect that often scares us, responsibility. As I was not free from my decisions I was not responsible either, since I was just a consequence of the circumstances, but now that I can choose I also realize that I will be responsible for what happens to me, I will not be able to blame others for not To achieve things, I can no longer blame my circumstances or my boss or my past for my failures, if I choose I am responsible for my future.

It is quite true that there is a shortage of leadership in almost all areas presently. Today, many regions of the world are crying for godly, effectively leaders. This is so because those vying for positions and those in positions already do not have action plans, visions and they are concerned about developing their own selves. Once, your mind, body and soul are not developed, you cannot build a team or transform others. SO, we see that personal growth and development is needed for effective leadership.
Effective leadership is influence! It is dependent on one catching a vision from God and then mobilizing others. I pray God to help us to lead effectively.
Well said. The best way to lead is by love and ask God wisdom to develop the team. When a truly love their followers they build a team that is perfect.
