The fig tree is a parable that our lord Jesus Christ used many times to talk to his disciples about the events and times they were living.
Mark 13: 28-31
28 From the fig tree learn the parable: When its branch is already tender, and the leaves sprout, you know that summer is near.
29 So also you, when you see these things happening, know that it is near, at the gates.
30 Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass until all this happens.
31 Heaven and earth will pass, but my words will not pass.

In these verses the Lord makes a description to his disciples about the functions of the fig tree so that they could realize what was really happening in their time.
Currently there is a prophetic time that all nations are living and many ignore this time looking guilty and do not realize that the word of God is being fulfilled in every town and nation.
Although the Lord was referring to the destruction of Jerusalem and the end of the world he also wanted to give a message to the rest of the world about his coming and the need that the world should have to repent as well as Christians to watch and pray because the day or the Now nobody would know.
Everything that God has said has to be fulfilled because his word will never happen, everything will be fulfilled and the people of God must be alert and watch over because the times we are living are shouting to us that the coming of Jesus Christ is near.
What are we doing in this prophetic time? Are we watching, praying and seeking the face of God to receive his timely help? I believe that as a people of God today, more than ever, we must be awake and stop sleeping knowingly assuming this time where the word of God is being fulfilled in every place.
You remember that heaven and earth will pass but your words will not pass, we have a challenge and it is to watch with fear because in the fig tree its branch is tender and the leaves sprout, and obviously it is telling us that summer is near.
Excellent @elion, we must be quick to discern the times that we are living since God speaks to us through the prophetic manifestations of this time and many ignore the reality of what is written and that is fulfilled today.
