I think this passage is one of the best known, in which is told how from the beginning of creation the enemy has come with his lie because it is one of the tools he uses the most in order to get away from God and of course Sin can not be missing from your toolbox as well.
But let us think for a moment, why would it be that they believed in this lie that the enemy told them through the serpent? The answer is very simple and it is certainly a time in which they were not close to the God who had given them life, they were distant from their Father, they had not known him well, nor had they taken the time to speak with He and as they did not talk to Him they did not know what were the plans He had for them, nor what belonged to them and of course the enemy could not miss this opportunity to make them fall, and that is that many times the enemy wraps us with their lies, It makes us fall because he is very subtle for this, he is an expert in deceiving, in destroying, because he does not want to see us happy next to our God, he wants to prevent at all costs that we have a closer and intimate relationship with him, He does not want us to realize that God has great blessings for our lives, much less that we enjoy eternal life together with God in the not too distant future.
Yes, the enemy will do anything to see you away from God, says the word of God that the enemy disguises himself as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). That is why dear brother you must be alert, you must be closer to your Father, know him every day more, go and know what He tells you through his word, because Jesus said: "And you will know the truth and the truth will set you free "" I am the way, the truth and the life "and of course Satan knows the word, knows what belongs to you, knows who you are for God, knows that you are important and special to Him, for I buy you at the price of blood, spare not even your own son for love of you. But he takes advantage because you do not know reality, he wants you to fall into sin, because he knows that if you fall into sin you will feel dirty, unworthy, ashamed, because sin creates a chasm between God and you, makes you go away more and more of God, but that is when we remember that the word of God plays a very important role in our lives, because God knows what is going to happen to us and as he knows it, he left us that beautiful word that is our guide, we must use it, remember when Jesus was tempted in the desert and said these words: "written not only man shall live by bread but by every word of God" (Luke 4: 4). You see the importance of knowing the word, I encourage you and I invite you to know it more, because there is the truth that will set you free.
I tell you today do not be fooled by the devil, remember that he is the father of lies and nothing he says is true, he is the number one fraudster that exists.
Stay closer to God, for with Him you are sure, put on the armor of God so that you stand firm against the devil's ambush (Ephesians 6:11). Resist the devil for he will flee from you (James 4: 7).
Do not let the enemy bind you and keep you away from God neither with the lie nor with the sin, nor with anything, you must be attentive because the enemy walks like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour (1 Peter 5: 8). allow him to devour you?
