Whenever you live based on your old nature you will be open to all the injustices of man. Your temper will get you into fights, your passions will clash with your neighbor, your desires will be like Tender buds exposed to the arrows of the enemy. Everything will be in your against ... attacking you from all directions. If you live by the mercy of a crowd of greed and covetous desires, then you will never find peace. You will never be satisfied because everything will worry you. You will be like an invalid bedridden for years ...

Wherever they touch you, you will feel pain. Your self-love is terribly susceptible. No matter how little they insult him, he screams killer!

The only hope is that you get out of yourself. Lose all your self interest. Only then can you enjoy the true peace reserved

You can be worried, upset, or distressed, but you can rest in Him. Love the hand that disciplines you. Find peace in all things ... including the cross. Be happy with what you have. Do not want more.
Surrender to God and find true peace.
