peace in the storm

The stories of the passion of our Lord Jesus Christ are of vital importance for the Christian, because it is reflected in the call that is made to Christians about our redemption. In the Easter message, the meaning of how death was transformed by God from defeat to victory is reflected; death in life and transition from evil to the perfect goodness of God. In passion, what we call the mystery of salvation is summarized:
God gave His only begotten Son so that we may be freed from sin and death.

We are in the midst of a storm that challenges convictions and principles that we have learned as Christians in
the practice of our faith. We feel insecure in our homes, on the street; we live full of fear, because when leaving home in our daily tasks the mass media encourage with their sensational news that same insecurity. We feel helpless and it is difficult for us to believe that God is in control of events.

It is necessary, therefore, to assume a positive attitude; to base our hopes that this storm will pass and calm will come if we trust in Jesus Christ. We must let ourselves be led by God and trust that he will provide. The Son of God calls us in each of these challenges to obedience and to live as he planned his discipleship.

We thank God that we have the privilege of living in a society where there is religious tolerance and alert citizens to the danger of any legislation or legal decisions that violate these principles. Brethren, fidelity entails the development of a way of life in which we are willing to take the risks to trust in the Good News that there will be a second coming of Christ to bring us the peace we long for
for the edification of all who trust in him.

let us give thanks that there are still countries where we can spread the word of God, assume the challenge and trust in the good news of salvation
