Forgiveness is the path of mental and emotional spiritual liberation. The person who is truly liberated is the one who has been able to experience the freedom to be able to forgive.
Many people have the wrong idea about what it really means to forgive. However, forgiveness means apologizing to someone who has offended us or not taking into account their fault or simply passing on the fault.
¡Forgiveness is simply an expression of love!

It is important to emphasize that forgiveness is not a single act that is done and already, it is a continuous process that can be deepened and completed over time. That is why when we forgive we do not seek revenge or justice, the second step is to make positive behaviors towards that person that we have lacked.
Without God, forgiveness is an authentic barbarity. From his hand we will be able to forgive because love expects everything, everything can.
In that order of ideas I want to analyze those words spoken by our Lord Jesus Christ in the book of Matthew 18: 21-22
And Peter came to him and said, Lord, how many times will I forgive my brother who sins against me? Up to seven?
Jesus said to him, "I do not tell you until seven, but even up to seventy times seven."

Numerology has always represented an important system in biblical interpretation and has also had a revealing relevance. Jesus was the best mathematician. Newton Galileo and Einsten recognized God as the perfect mathematician to exclaim that nature was written by God in a mathematical language.
In these verses indicated there is a number that has been the subject of discussion by many theologians and scholars of the Bible (7X70)

In these words Jesus was talking about forgiveness, relating it to exponential mathematics, that is, permutation. 7x70 = 490. In the words of Jesus: "I do not tell you up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven." which gives as a sum 490 times, but here is an enigma, because this takes the exponential mathematics becomes an infinite number.
For example in Hebrew 70 it is "ayin" which means the sum total of this world which means that the number 70 is an expression of "the sum total of this world". It means this "spiritual elevation" since this figure is raised to a power and is infinite, there is no limit to the number of times we must forgive.
70x70 = 490 and when you take it to the exponent, the value that appears is infinite.

70x7 only the brave will understand
There is no limit to forgive. Jesus when he looks at the heart of man does not put limirtes to forgiveness.
Forgiving 70 times seven means forgiving everything and everyone, from the smallest offense to death itself.
Forgiveness has a risk
Forgiveness is essential for our salvation and unforgiveness has very dangerous risks such as: increased anxiety, increased narcissism, increased psychosomatic, cardiac and depressive complications.
Forgiveness releases your mental and emotional energies and leads you to be happy and truly free.

Thank you, dear brothers, I appreciate your comments. Blessings
Dear Sis, interesting
Very interesting the way you propose forgiveness @ricci01, I like the mathematics you use to express God's forgiveness for all. DTB
Great ... @ricci01, I love the mathematical way you explain the words spoken by Jesus. Very true what you say "this only the brave understand."
It is hard for us to forgive in our human condition, but we know that only Jesus can give us that privilege of forgiving our fellow human beings. Very good reflection @ricci01, forgiveness has no limit.
The attitude of Jesus in teaching us about forgiveness is simply that we understand that we should love as he loves, if God sent his son to die for us as Romans 5: 8 says, who are we not to forgive? is to reflect this question, forgive and be completely free.
You have a lot of reason, what a good post, congratulations. We have to learn to forgive from the heart, as Our Heavenly Father does.
excellent post, congratulations, the world and we as children of God we must learn to forgive
And just as you mention forgiveness is an expression of love. In Christ Jesus we have the ally who shows us the way to relieve our burdens by forgiving others. Blessings sister @ricci01
I need this today. And I need to find some way to forgive people before they even transgress. I think my reactions to their perceived offenses would be more accurate and helpful.
Hello @ricci01. Excellent message about forgiveness. How much love of God that forgave us all our sins, then we with those who are offended must do the same.
Blessings @ ricci01. Very interesting message.
Interesting post. Blessings
I like your very edifying post about forgiveness. DTB
Forgiveness is the only way of liberating the soul from resentment and resentment. It is the opportunity we have to love our neighbor as God loves us who forgave us our sins. It is the right time to let go of someone who was imprisoned in our hearts. Forgiving 7x70 is the totality of infinite forgiveness.
Forgiving seventy times seven for a person who offends you in the number of times a day is a mystery of God's love. If the Lord orders it, it is because he is very interested in our heart not being contaminated with resentment. The order is to love our enemies. How loving he is with God that he does not want anyone to get lost. Blessings @ ricci01
Beautiful your post @ ricci01. Forgiveness is nothing more than cleaning the soul of resentment towards a person, although it does not happen overnight. Blessings
Hello @ ricci01 your publication is very valuable.
