When we look back we lose our way: GOD commanded Lot to escape and not look back. Many times we get to look away and look back. By consequences we can lose our way.
One of the greatest fears of a commander on the high seas is to lose his way. (Because it makes them deviate from where they are going, or make them deviate from their purpose).
Do not look back, do not look at the problems, do not be afraid, do not give up because GOD has not given us a spirit of cowardice. 2 Timothy 1: 7.
Jesus did not give up and did not look back (even though he was humiliated, beaten, trampled, he remained firm).
