Currently we may be rumored with the news circulation of voice notes received by twitter users, the voice note contains military passwords and Morse code.
I'm sure if it's just a joke which might be like that, it's over the limit of a joke.
When it comes to space it may be endless, so is the Alien. Alien so far only in view as fiction by most people. But if Alien is really there & is watching us how? The survival of mankind is at stake.

If thinking using Alien logic is likely to exist. Imagine from billions of Galaxy, stars & planets impossible only earth that is in habitable zone.
This is only my opinion, if indeed Alien is right there we must be aware that we are not the only Intelligent species in the universe, maybe even more intelligent than us.
