Researchers of the project Seti (Search for Extrestrestrial Intelligence), which searches for traces of extraterrestrial civilizations, cannot get graphics processors that are necessary for complex calculations. According to Dr. Dan Werthimer, the reason was miners, who bought up all high-performance graphics cards.
"We've been using the latest GPUs graphics processing units ... and we can not get 'em," the scientist noted. He added that the problem was especially actual in the last couple of months.
Projects Seti are engaged in the search for signals from extraterrestrial civilizations in radio frequencies, and also send their signal to space. Processing of information requires large computing power. For example, in the SETI Observatory in Berkeley, some telescopes use a hundred powerful graphics processors.

Yes, I had a very positive feeling about that from my childhood, But recently I saw a documentary about the discoveries and research done by people on this topic. I also think that they have already contacted us and they gave us the technology we use in today's world. The artifacts, the monuments, the drawings and the scriptures describing vimaanas, flying saucer type vehicles or chariots coming from the sky.
