Energy For The Future

in #science7 years ago

We’ll always in need energy and the demand for it’s growing. To make sure there's enough, and everyone can afford it, producing more from renewable sources like wind and water are a staple haven. This is better for the environment as it produces very little carbon dioxide (C02) and it’s good for you too, as it won't run out. So it’s a sustainable affordable way to make energy.

UK's biggest biomass plant and are testing the first wave power enerator. A of need a good mix of energy sources is required though not just renewable ones.

As well as improved gas, coal and oil-fired power stations a use of new technology is used make fossil fuels more efficient and less harmful to the environment. New technoiogy means that homes are about to become a lot smarter. By 2019 every home in the UK will have a smart meter.
