Gliese 710 the star that will pass through the solar system

In about 1.3 million years, this star named Gliese 710 will cross the gravitational fields of our solar system.

This type of approach is frequent, but does not pose any risk to the orbits of the planets found in the Solar System.

On the other hand we have the Oort Cloud which is an area where there is a huge number of comets said this, a gravitational influence caused by the clash of stars, although this type of collision is too rare, would affect the orbits of some comets and therefore these could fall towards the planet earth.

This star, Gliese 710, is characterized by having similarity to our Sun, although with a smaller size, this star is currently located at a distance of 63 light years, at a far greater distance than the nearest star that is Alpha Centauri, as this is about 4.24 light years away.

Gliese 710 is in the constellation Serpen and moves at a speed of 50,000 kilometers per hour, exactly half the movement of our sun.

Despite the aforementioned, Gilese 710 does not present a danger for which to be worried, although it is possible that this causes that kites that are in the cloud of Oort collapse in our planet, for such a collision to occur it is necessary that some of these comets have an orbit that clashes with that of the planet earth.

Although if such an event occurs that there is a possible collision on the planet earth of these kites, there will be too many years for this to happen and having the current information and information that will be obtained in the future and being the case that the human race still exists until that date could be avoided from such a collision.

Hi @freddbrito , happy to have come across your post thanks to steemSTEM :) Very cool to see other steemers passionate about space!

This probably would alter a lot of orbits inside our solar system, and probably send a whole lot of asteroids into collision course with nearby planets, including the Earth. Guess it will be a problem for future generations, if they will even be human ^^

By the way, are you involved in any space related work outside of steemit? Would be glad to connect with you on the platform! Followed.

For now I'm not, I have not thought about it but it's a good idea.
