Imagine the size of the universe

in #science7 years ago (edited)

Have they taken a moment to think about the size that our universe would have?, Must be something incredible if we get creative with our thoughts.

But does the universe really have a fixed size, is it constantly expanding or is it infinite?, maddening as the latter sounds.

Today we will enter a little on the subject of the size that could have our universe.

If we took a handful of sand with the hand, the amount of grains would be a portion of the stars that are strewn all over the universe. Some 46.5 billion light years are estimated from the visible universe, that is, what we can observe from the earth to the universe is that amount of light years, counting all directions, that would give a diameter of 93 million light-years.

It is speculated that the universe contains the incredible amount of up to billions of galaxies, to be exact 2 billion, this information arises from research done by observing the images that are deeper in the universe.
The Hubble telescope, positioned at a point in the sky in a period of 11 days, and as a result gave us this incredible image.
Approximately 100 billion galaxies are in this great and impressive image, and although many are still observed there are still many that can not be seen clearly since the telescope has a limit of vision, and there are galaxies that have a very low luminosity.

Now imagine this: If a human compared to size with the planet earth could be considered a grain of sand, how serious compared to planets that are twice as much as triple the size of the planet earth? having that in mind the idea of obtaining a fixed size of the universe is quite difficult, disturbing and impressive at the same time.
