Fabric , Basically the term is related to manufacturing things.
A manufactured assembly of fibers and / or yarns that has substantial surface area in relation to its thickness and sufficient cohesion to give the assembly useful mechanical strength is called fabric.
There have many types of fabric-- but i give here the best useful types , which are--
Woven fabric
Knitted fabric
Non- Woven fabric
Braid fabric
There have many factors that determine the fabric properties----
Fiber properties--- Chemical content, Molecular weight, Molecular arrangement
There have some terms of fabric construction--
EPI, PPI, Warp count, Weft count
And some things have about Fabric engineering- Yarn Specification, Fabric Specification, Yarn crimp, Weave structure.
And during the Manufacturing process of fabric . Some necessary things have to check . They are- Strength,
Durability, Degradation, Weight , Thickness, pliability, Absorbency, Air permeability, Stiffness, Abrasion, Compressibility, Elasticity, Frictional , Electrical properties, Thermal properties, Crease recovery, Drape, Handle, Lusture , Regain .
