Today I will talk about new spacecraft which NASA launched towards the sun on Sunday to get closer to our sun than anything send before.

The name of the rocket is PARKER SOLAR PROB. It will fly straight towards the outer solar atmosphere. The prob will get within 6 million kilometres near the sun's surface, which will be remain comfortably cool despite the extreme heat and radiation. So that scientists can explore the sun in a way that never before done or possible before.
The spacecraft is protected by new revolutionary carbon heat shield and other high tech material and technology. This spacecraft reach his first solar encounter on this November. This spacecraft will make 24 close approach to the sun on seven years. This project worth of $1.5 billion.
This is the first time when NASA put the name of there spacecraft after someone still alive, the NASA Chief Thomas Zurbuchen said " Frankly there's no other name that belongs on this mission". it is the greatest honour for Parker. On Saturday night the launch attempt was stopped due to some technical problem.
From earth the Parker spacecraft is now 150 million kilometres to the sun which the prob covered only 4 percent of that distance. This distance is 7 times closer than that of last spacecraft. This is an achievement for the NASA.
Parker said after he watching spacecraft launch " IT WAS LOOKING AT THE TAJ MAHAL FOR YEARS IN PHOTOS AND THEN BEHOLDING THE REAL THING IN INDIA"
This spacecraft helps in understanding the sun more closely and deeply. This prob will help in better understanding sun life the, violence and life giving nature of sun. This will benifits everyone in and around the world. With this prob scientists can reveal the many secrets of sun. We can understand why corona hundred times hotter than the surface of the sun and to understand why sun surface continuously exploding.
