NASA/JPL Mars gigaspan composite image with more rubble than rocks

in #science4 years ago

Gigapans are gigantic composite images stitched together from multiple camera scans from the Mars rover. These images are made specifically for panning and zooming to see surface details and can be full-screened with a button on the right side. Many show remains of ancient buildings and structures and mechanical junk and debris, this one is unusually rich in such.
