PHILIPPINES. Sprouting on its tree's trunk and branches, grows the fruit of Theobroma cacao also known as Cacao or Cocoa. A native of tropical areas in the Philippines, Asia and tropical regions of Central and South America. It grows about 4-8 meters in height.

BENEFITS AND USES
Common in the Philippines, the fruits of Theobroma Cacao is edible and can be used in various applications and uses. Like any other fruits, its seeds also known as Cocoa beans or Cacao beans can also be used to produce powder- commonly powders to be used for making chocolates. For its uses and applications, such are the following:
A. Cocoa Powder
Chocolate powder which comes in its solid or semi-solid form
B. Cocoa Mass or Chocolate Liquor
Liquor, alternative name for liquid or fluid as this is not referring to any alcoholic beverages
C. Cocoa Butter
Also called theobroma oil, is a pale-yellow, edible vegetable fat extracted from the cocoa bean.
D. Confectionery
Also called sweets or candies
E. Ganache
Ganache, french term for "jowl" is a glaze, icing, sauce, or filling for pastries made from chocolate and cream.
So much for that, foods which can be seen and tasted from anything sweet as chocolates may perhaps be derived and originated from cocoas. So if you have planted one, you may never have any problem to create your own version of chocolate.
FRUIT TASTE ALIKE
If you come to taste a Cacao fruit, the only edible part is the seeds. It taste as a mangosteen. The mixture of the tastes of little sourness and more sweetness just had a perfect blend.
