It is curious the avidity of wealthy people for super luxury yachts, perhaps it is an atavistic sexual reminiscence, a show of your enormous power before society and the fact that boats, a priori, have no size limit as happens with luxury cars or airplanes, as is the case of Jeff Bezos's yacht that had to dock among the oil tankers because it did not fit in the Miami marina.
Es curioso la avidez de la gente adinerada por los yates de super lujo, tal vez sea una reminiscencia sexual atávica, un mostrar tu enorme poderío ante la sociedad y el hecho de que los barcos, a priori, no tienen límite de tamaño como sucede con los coches de lujo o los aviones, como es el caso del yate de Jeff Bezos que tuvo que atracar entre los petroleros porque no cabía en el puerto deportivo de Miami.

En este sentido la empresa de diseño Lazzarini Design Studio ha creado Colossea, un yate de 204 metros de eslora que monta un dirigible en el lugar donde iría el puente alto, el dirigible llamado Norge en honor a la nave utilizada por Roald Amundsen en su expedición al polo norte y puede desacoplarse y levantar el vuelo para disfrute de los tripulantes.

The aircraft has a length of 106 meters with capacity for twenty-four passengers and ten crew members, it is propelled by eight liquid hydrogen engines that feed four adjustable turbines, it has a carbon fiber structure covered by solar panels that provide energy to both the yacht and the to the aircraft.
La aeronave tiene una longitud de 106 metros con capacidad para veinticuatro pasajeros y diez tripulantes, se propulsa mediante ocho motores de hidrógeno líquido que alimentan a cuatro turbinas orientables, tiene una estructura de fibra de carbono recubierta por paneles solares que proporcionan energía tanto al yate como a la aeronave.
Regarding the yacht, it is equipped with HTS (High Temperature Superconducting) engines that allow it to reach a cruising speed of 22 knots (40 km/h approx.), it has twenty-two luxury cabins for guests, swimming pools, recreational decks and a kind of artificial beach at the stern where you can bathe and practice water sports.
En lo que respecta al yate está equipado con motores HTS (High Temperature Superconducting ) que le permiten alcanzar una velocidad de crucero de 22 nudos (40 Km/h aprox.), cuenta con veintidós camarotes de lujo para invitados, piscinas, cubiertas de recreo y una especie de playa artificial en popa donde bañarse y practicar deportes náuticos.

Obviamente esto todavía no es más que un diseño, el único inconveniente es que para su construcción se necesitan al menos mil millones de dólares y no quiero ni pensar el coste del mantenimiento de semejante embarcación, por eso el guiño a Elon Musk en la foto del dirigible del vídeo de presentación, ya que pocos más podrán acceder a ello.
If you watch the promotional video that I leave below you will be able to see the extreme luxury of both the boat and the airship and there is no doubt that traveling in it has to be a unique experience, but personally I believe that navigation has to be done, if not in alone, with just the right number of people on board and not in a floating hotel.
Si veis el vídeo de promoción que os dejo más abajo podréis comprobar el lujo extremo tanto del barco como del dirigible y no cabe duda que viajar en él ha de ser una experiencia única, pero personalmente creo que la navegación ha de hacerse, si no en solitario, con el número justo de personas a bordo y no en un hotel flotante.
