Curiously a month ago we commented on this post as the data collected by astronomers suggested the existence of a planet orbiting the Sun beyond Neptune based on the disturbances observed in the orbits of nearby planets, with this new planet we would once again have a solar system with 9 planets like before losing Pluto.
Curiosamente hace un mes comentábamos en este post como los datos recogidos por los astrónomos sugerían la existencia de un planeta orbitando el Sol más allá de Neptuno basándose en la perturbaciones observadas en las órbitas de los planetas cercanos, con este nuevo planeta volveríamos a tener un sistema solar con 9 planetas como antes de perder a Plutón.

After analyzing all the candidates one by one and discarding, he discovered an object that meets all the characteristics reflected in the data and that could be the candidate to be the 9th planet in our solar system.
Después de analizar uno a uno todos los candidatos y de ir desechando descubrió un objeto que cumple todas las características reflejadas en los datos y que podría ser el candidato a ser el 9º planeta de nuestro sistema solar.
The presumed star would be an ice planet that would have between 3 and 4 times the mass of Earth, this planet would move in an orbit 250 times farther from the Sun than that described by our planet or, in other words, more than 6 times further from us than our ancient planet Pluto.
El presunto astro se trataría de planeta helado que tendría entre 3 y 4 veces la masa de la Tierra, este planeta se movería describiendo una órbita 250 veces más lejana del Sol que la que describe nuestro planeta o, lo que es lo mismo, más de 6 veces más alejado de nosotros que nuestro antiguo planeta Plutón.

Although the same author of the discovery tells us that it is still early and that more checks have to be carried out, if this finding is confirmed it would be the only planet discovered in the solar system since 175 years ago that Neptune was discovered, by the way also deducing its existence from the data obtained by astronomers.
Aunque el mismo autor del descubrimiento nos dice que aún es pronto y que ha de realizarse más comprobaciones, si se confirma este hallazgo sería el único planeta descubierto en el sistema solar desde hace 175 años que se descubrió Neptuno, por cierto también deduciendo su existencia de los datos obtenidos por los astrónomos.
