It is clear that the modern Arab world is the king of mega-structures, Burj-Khalifa the world's largest hotel in Dubai or The line, the 170 km linear city that is already being built in Saudi Arabia, but all this will pale if they manage to carry out this latest project, an underwater train that will link the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with India.
Está claro que el mundo árabe moderno es el rey de las mega-estructuras, Burj-Khalifa el mayor hotel del mundo en Dubai o The line, la ciudad lineal de 170 km que ya están construyendo en Arabia Saudí, pero todo esto palidecerá si consiguen llevar a cabo este último proyecto, un tren submarino que unirá los Emirato Árabes Unidos (EAU) con la India.
The idea is to build an underwater tunnel that will link the emirates with the rest of the countries that make up the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, a group of countries including India, the tunnel will link the coastal points of Fujairah and Mumbai separated by a distance of 1,800 kilometers.

Esto de momento no es más que una idea que fue lanzada hace unos años por el National Advisor Bureau junto con otros proyectos tan faraónicos como este, pero desde que sufrimos la pandemia parece hasta ahora no se había hablado mucho de ello.
De cualquier forma no cabe duda de que este proyecto sería muy interesante para el desarrollo económico de estos países.

No me lo creo ;) jajajaa, también podemos hacer un ascensor a la estratosfera y quizá fuera más barato que este proyecto.
Nadie se creía lo de la ciudad de 170 km y ya la están construyendo, tienen mucha pasta esta gente.
Si, pero empezar una ciudad de 170 km no es terminarla, ni construir un tren de miles de km... veremos, si hasta se les atragantaron unas pocas islas artificiales...
De momento mientras tengan petróleo...
