The universe and time define existence. You cannot exist if there is no space and time. Why else do we use omnipresence God is ? Omnipresence implies that both time and space define Him as follows:
1.Time
![]()
For existence to occur, there has to be a past, present, and future.Time is infinite.
No beginning or end. I could say that time is as old as God himself. He is present in the past, present, and future. Meaning, he does not travel through time because he is already there at that time. Human beings and all other beings only exist in a particular instant of time, but God's presence cuts through time. That is, His presence is in the past, present, and future, all combined together. He is not confined to the present because, He is also in the past and the future. To Him, there is no past and future. Just the present because, he is present throughout the entire spread of time. This means that, if you were to travel 50million years into the future, you would still find God there. No wonder He says, "...T am the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end." To me, this is what makes sense when we speak about God's omnipresence throughout the spread of time.
2.Space
I could liken the universe to a bottomless space. Actually, it is an infinite space with no top or bottom. Who knows? There are millions of planets out there. Probably an infinite number of planets. Yet, God takes care of the interests and needs of the entire universe at every moment of time. Every planet floating through space has a story to tell about this.
