Biofeed adalah pakan unggas yang di formulasikan dari tepun daun pepaya.
Banyak keluhan dari para peternak unggas mengenai kematian pada unggas. Kematian pada unggas menyebabkan kerugian yang besar bagi para peternak, bukannya untung malah buntung. Alternatif pencegahan uang dilakukan oleh para peternak ayam untuk menangkal viru Newcastle disease adalah dengan memberi vaksin terhadap unggas.
pemberian vaksin dalam jangka waktu yang lama akan menyebabkan zat-zat kimia yang terdapat di dalam vaksin terakumulasi di dalam unggas sehingga akan sangat berbahaya apabila dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat.
Di dalam daun pepaya terdapat kandungan plavonoid saponin yang dapat menangkal virus dan memberikan ketahanan tubuh unggas sehingga sangat tepat diformulasikan sebagai ransum pakan hewan unggas agar terbebas dari virus
