RE: garbage

in #science7 years ago (edited)

Once upon a time, less than 500 years ago, there was this clever fella who made an equally ludicrous claim:
That the SUN was at the center of the Universe, not the Earth.
His name was Copernicus.

Less than 70 years ago, the theory on genetic information getting carried across generational blood lines held that the source for this info was contained in mitochondria.
Then Watson and/or Crick dropped LSD and came up with the DNA double helix.
Whatever your ideas or heroes; you only risk personal psychic trauma believing them infallible.

NEVER UNDERESTIMATE HOW WRONG YOU CAN BE.

I'm also reading Jordan Peterson's book "12 Rules for Life." That fella's got my support all day.

His book, his interviews, and his lectures have yet to disappoint.

Several Steemit posts coming about his book and my favorite quotes from it.

I'm looking forward to our discussions on steemit about it; proper conversations with intelligent, funny, free-thinking non-trolls are a healthy use of time 🤜🤛Maximum respect @beograd! 🤝
