SteemTrails official talent spotters for Science!
Science-trail is a part of the Steemtrail project, It will, like all the other ´trails´, operate as a separate account, with its own curation team.We will be curating posts having Science as main subject, focusing heavily on the three main streams; Chemistry, Biology and Physics. The goal is to highlight and support science-related content which is understandable by the average Steemian, informative and factually accurate.
In the coming weeks we will work to create engaging community events that push well made science content. Starting next week a Science newsletter will be posted weekly on Mondays in hopes to highlight new are former unique content creators making science related content.
As for all SteemTrail-supported posts, we encourage authors to make sure that:
- Appropriate credit is given for all external text, images, videos, etc, and are clearly indicated
- Only relevant tags are used. Obviously we will only consider posts including the science tag.
- Absolutely no plagiarism
- Posts are properly formatted
We aim to review all kinds of posts that are science related, for example, science as it relates to technology, nature or the future.
Whenever appropriate, we will provide comments to help authors comply with the above guidelines. If you want to support this initiative, please consider using your voting power to support us, so we may in turn give more support to the community. You will be able to do this automatically as soon as our streemian trail is set up. As an alternative, you can use steemvoter.com

Almost a year around, making "decent" posts, and I was rarely hit by any of these so-called "projects. Yet, I always observe a common factor, it is always the same guys that split the pie among themselves.
I will keep this in mind as I have only been here a month. Still learning every day and listening to all who came before...
Hey, I assure you they are not "needed" to curate properly. Curation is something that sees very little reward unless you are doing it very often with lots of steem power. What they wish to do is save you a little bit of marketing and networking through their curation. Keep producing good, unique content and you will see new traffic directed to you by the science-trail :)

Some of the trails have been out of commission for awhile. I understand your frustration, but I assure you I have taken over this trail in order to do nothing of the sorts. I see that same common factor and want to eradicate the over-support of those larger accounts and get more support for new unique creators in the science tag. How will you be promoting the curated science posts?
We will be doing trying out a series of different structures in the coming weeks, starting next week a weekly science newsletter will be posted highlighting the best of new and known creators for the week. Going forward from there we will host particular theme content creation events, while obviously engaging in the regular series of upvotes and resteems.
